Name: Kain Age: 29 Height: 6'0" Species: Human Eyes: Yellow Hair: Crimson Singing Voice: Christopher Hall of Stabbing Westward and The Dreaming Tattoos, Scars & Piercings: On the palm of each hand he has a tattoo (displayed above) which helps channel his magic. The symbol represents the bound serpent (demon.) He has two red bars tattooed under his left eye. His left ear is pierced, and he wears a dangling gold earring within it. Background: Kain is a sorceror who uses demonic magic - a sort of magic which involves the enslavement of demons or a borrowing of powers from the infernal realms. He is supremely powerful in this regard, especially given his relatively young age. Demonic magic is one of the least practiced branches of magic in the Intus world, and at the point during which Kain lives, it is nearly defunct altogether. In some respects a child prodigy, Kain discovered his magical talents at a young age. When he was about 10, it happened that another demonic sorceror was walking through his town, and sensed his magic. He immediately took the young Kain under his wing, and taught him all the finesse he needed to use his power well. An ambitious soul, Kain gathered an army, his magical prowess being used to crush those who opposed him. Kain's unusual hair and eye colouring is the a result of the demon taint - working so frequently with the demonic magicks have altered his appearance. Kain is not a direct part of Intus' main storyline, rather he is a figure from Quare's past, Quare serving under him for two years, before joining with Khari. Kain is dead by the time that the main story in Intus begins. Personality: Kain is not a kind person - indeed, it would be nearly impossible to work demonic magicks without some taste for sadism. Kain has a narcissistic personality, and while in many ways he deserves his ego, he is perhaps not quite as clever as he supposes. His own confidence in his abilities can blind him to flaws. He is, however, extremely smart. He uses his magic on a very frequent basis, for even mundane tasks, his usage of the magic rarely taxing him unless it is a great undertaking. (Sorcerors tend to find magic-working, in any quantity tiring, or downright exhausting.) He has a taste for beautiful things, and is fascinated by anything or anyone who might rival him in an aspect that he prides himself in, or that reminds him of himself. He will often seek to obtain such things, even (or perhaps especially) if they do not wish to be obtained. Reference Images: Available Playlist: |
