Background: Badri is a bounty hunter, and an extremely good one at that. His mother, a prostitute, was killed when he was quite young. He is unaware of who his father is. He grew up on the streets of a large city working as a pickpocket sometimes in groups, but never staying with them long. He spent some time in an orphanage after being caught stealing. As a teenager, he joined a temple for the Lady of the Heavens, and became a priest of low order. It was here that he learned to read, write, and fight in a serious way, and that he learned he quite enjoyed all three. The tattoo on his neck marks his service to the Goddess. He eventually left the temple, which had been his intention from the start, and became a bounty-hunter. He stumbles into the story of Intus when a bounty is placed on Taurus' head, and he goes to claim it, only to discover that he can't imagine Taurus having done anything worth the price of the bounty. He finds himself curious about Taurus, Djinn, and company, and so opts to travel with them, much to the dismay and general annoyance of Maetis, who Badri antagonizes further by coming on to at every opportunity. Badri has a minor affinity towards magical abilities, but has been largely untrained in the magical arts, and is generally content to ignore this skill. When he fights, he is quick and agile, relying on speed, surprise and quick slices more that physical force. His best friends are Iuliana and Drake.

Personality: Badri is a rogue, a joker, and a tremendous slut. He is an extremely sexual person, and will attempt to get pretty much any attractive person he comes across into the sack - something which he's generally fairly successful at. He's clever, casual and fun-loving, and people are drawn to him in just the way the likes. Badri is partial to both men and women, and is especially fond of "fiesty" individuals. He thinks of sex as being good, clean fun and rarely treats it as anything more than that; for obvious reasons, he prefers partners that have a similar outlook. While Badri is usually upbeat and playful, he is not always happy with himself as a person. This stems from a certain (but only occasional) concern about the fact that he truly enjoys his work as a bounty-hunter. Sometimes it disturbs him that he can like killing people as something more than a job, however much he tries to tell himself that it's just a job and he enjoys it because it's challenging - he fears the darkness inside himself. When his thoughts stray to this, he will often engage in slightly self-destructive behaviour, such as picking fights he is unlikely to win, or encouraging sexual situations that he will not enjoy. He is fond of stories, and collects them in his journal alongside tales of his own exploits. Badri is fairly intelligent, but often reacts on instinct or emotion more than on thought, which can cause him to be slower on the pick-up sometimes, or can lead ot uncomfortable, dangerous, or awkward situations. Though in general, instinctual reactions are more useful for what he does. The emotional aspect, however, can cause problems, as he becomes considerably less focused and/or capable (especially in terms of combat prowess) in such circumstances.
