Creator - Maureen Maureen is a tremendous nerd. As of the writing of this profile (June 20th, 2007) she will be going into her fifth and final year of undergraduate studies at the University of Winnipeg. She is majoring in Classical Studies and Honours Anthropology, with a focus on Archaeology. She has two years of excavation experience, and sometimes works as a research assistant or scientific illustrator. She also draws comic books and has no desire to choose between any of her would-be professions. She has almost no proficiency in any ancient language, which makes her very sad. She's fond of human bones, and hopes this helps to make up for her poor language skills. She thinks mythology is terribly exciting, along with military history. She's rather unsure of her website coding skills, but hopes that if she pokes it enough, it'll work. She likes to talk about herself in the third person, because she thinks it makes her sound more prestigious. One day she hopes to be an intrepid archaeologist, doing much excavation in Greece, but also hopping to any site where a physical anthropologist or scientific illustrator is needed, whilst aiding the police in forensic cases involving bones, all the while drawing comics and writing novels in her spare time. She also suspects she's addicted to tea.
